Any other ADK Integrated suddenly confronted with one of the most legal dense amendment ever when trying to log into reporting? It won't let you access anything until it's electronically signed. I'm more than a bit annoyed they just sprung this without any sort of prior alert or explanation as to why they are doing this. I already emailed my AM and Bill about it with those sentiments.
I heard there's also an electronic signature/hash that will show up on all emails going out through the Integrated Solution - any truth to this?
This was my AM's reply. It doesn't seem to really match what was in the amendment though. The agreement is just an amendment to your API agreement, which is basically allowing us to enhance performance with services provided by third parties. So what you***8217;re agreeing to is allowing us to provide your email address to third parties so we can do things like append demographic data, and perform other data verification processes. With this agreement, you are not allowing any of these third parties to email your data. This is strictly to help us better target your users with relevant campaigns and offers. We***8217;re excited about some of the projects we have internally, and expect you***8217;ll benefit from the successes as they roll out. We hope to have more to share with you in the coming weeks.
^^^^ fuck that! "you agree to give up your data in hopes we will make you more money but no one will mail it <wink> <wink> - ummm....suuuure you won't...
Who are these third parties? They should be disclosed at a mimumum... are they trustworthy, etc. Some due diligence needs to be performed, and the publisher should have a right to do it as well as ADK imo.
