Any good desktop list management software?

    I currently use the one built in with the platform I use but is there a good desktop list management program that any recommends?

    prob good to start with both pretty basic and windows based

    Yeah I forgot to mention I run windows. Who runs Mac for mailing?

    If I had to choose (linux, freebsd, etc wasn't an option) between spending $10k on an Apple server and running OSX or spending $5k and getting a better server, but being forced to run Windows I'd choose OSX. Friends don't let friends run Windows servers.

    Haha I meant for your desktop. Linux all the way for the server. My main laptop has windows though.

    i used sendblaster for a while. its not a clean system. can mail a decent amount but list management and automation is a nightmare.

    Not a list database manager or anything of that sort, but a good list utility application for large flat file lists is Send Safe List Manager.
