It's not just mailing. I have other online businesses, and holidays always suck. Although for mail, it would seem Thanksgiving to Xmas is a good time for those who know what they are doing.
Revenue def dips... but I will be chilling in Islamorada with a nice frosty drink on the sandbar, so I can't be too mad!
I agree with the Hatter, no one likes to mail on holidays, but thanksgiving and especially xmas they seem to open the gates, so you have the ability to bring in some nice revenue. with all the delivery obstacles we have, you have send that shit when you can. LOL - i have also noticed nicer delivery on other weekend holidays, Happy 4th - Happy Mailing LOL
Ha yeah - well also the Monday or Tuesday after a holiday generally kills since their mailboxes are full of offers. So that's the upside.
Ha all very true, even though I can't program. I live in LA SuperGenii, so I know what you mean. But yeah I shouldn't complain. Everyone else I know works in cubicals all day.
god damn look at all your lucky Beachers. The closets Ill get to a sandy area is the volleyball courts at the park :17:
It's an absolutely amazing day here in Sunny San Diego. In the words of Ferris Bueller, "How can I be expected to go to school (work) on a day like today" ...too bad that's everyday. :439:
That's the problem here in SoCal...everyday is pretty much perfect weather so it sucks when you have to sit inside and work. BUT again, I can't complain I could be in an office and it could snow in the winter.
Thats the beauty of Socal here and mailing. IF you really want to just take off you can. You dont have a boss! Set up my mailings the night before. Check some stuff in the AM and then split for the day. Go hike or to the beach or whatever!
Going to chill this weekend and put mailing on hold until Tuesday morning. I lived in New York (Long Island) pretty much my whole life. Many of my friends moved to Jersey.
