    I'm sourcing for a new platform that would be used for a "permission-based" email marketing campaigns. Please PM with you features and benefits and if anyone has any recommendations please submit.

    ah....touche. I should have clarified Branded-permission-based opt-in i.e groupon etc..... yes, I know that 3rd party is "technically" a permission based model, since recipients agree to receive 3rd party email via the "fine-print" However, typically when we speak of "permission-based" its exclusive opt-in to a brand or offer of either email or newsletter :party:

    Are you collecting the data yourself or looking for a system to manage mailings for a client?

    Is this for brand new mailing or you are switching from whatever system is currently in place?

    Yes, the data belongs to the clients, its buyer data collected on a daily basis. They are currently mailing and I'm looking at different ways of monetizing the data. Plan is to keep the current mailing structure in place and slowing migrate over to our own ips and build the rep. Than once rep has been established, a full migration will take place.

    It will be a 3 tier mailing system. They will all have their own brand and NO data will be shared with outside parties. This is why I'm not happy about using a hosted ESP, but we are not set up yet for our own MTA just yet.
