I personally would like to get to someting like this, if for no other reason that to listen and record it. I think it would be interesting to hear what these guys are thinking, planning and implementing. Whether or not it would be SUPER helpful isn't as important to me as it is to learn as much as possible about this kind of stuff. The more I know, the more I learn the better I become at what I do which in turn should manifest itself as more $$, right? So, if you could go, would you? :240: source: ReturnPath
Hi Pushsend, I went to the first ESPC Authentication Summit in 2005 in NYC. It was cool if not a little nerdy but man did they have interesting people there: The heads of Return Path (Bilbrey was there), Ironport, Port25, Microsoft Hotmail VPs, tons of ESP admins, and a lot of great presentations from the guys who wrote Domain Keys and other AUTH technologies. You can learn a lot and the people you meet are great contacts and the best thing is they pass no judgments (although I did overhear them smack around the constant contact admins for allowing dirty users on their system and made them promise to be good). I would definitely go to this if I could (cannot for other personal obligations) and anyone serious about longevity in the biz should go. Jedi
