bizarre veiled threats in email templates

    this was at the top of an email i got today and it cracked me up, it's almost a textbook example of what not to do:

    You are receiving this email message because you opted to at one of our affiliate's website. If you no longer wish to receive these messages from us, then Please DO NOT claim that we Spammed You! To remove from further emails please press the link below. If you do want to claim that we spammed you, your Email Provider will report back to us your claim, and this is not a good thing for all.

    LOL. Pretty awesome. I wonder if they have noticed a difference in complaints or delivery with that.
