So at the moment, I've segmented out everything that looks, smells, or tastes like gmail.com as gmail hates me or something. But, I forgot that a lot of Uni's (.edus) have students check mail through gmail...which ends up making my mails get blocked. Question is, is there a way besides segmenting .edus and a few low tier cables out as well to completely get rid of gmails at the moment? Edit: Filtering out domains that have dfferent MX records wouldn't work right?
Depends on whatever MTA you're using.. Easiest way would be to resolve and store all the mx records for the domains in your lists.. Then dump a list of ones that use gmail/googleapps mx servers.
yeah, like nick said, u can sort it out through the MTA send log, check in the description column using excel, sort, then search using the keyword google/googlemail. May take lots of time but it end up help you get the most accurate report.
Awesome thanks guys. Been doing a lot of combo's of exporting lists cleaned in Hygiene Agent and testing out filters. Will see what I can do further in DA
