What are the pros and cons of mailing with a .info vs a .com? Does it make a difference significant difference when sending? I'm seeing ~30% of my profits going to .coms when sending adstation.

I've run some tests and couldn't really tell a difference. Then again sample size was small. Idk what the offers where. And it was on different days of the week.

Any input would be greatly appreciated as always.

Gotta specify what you're mailiing, but I know you're mailing GI so I can answer. Basically .coms will always get you higher delivery. But in my experience it doesn't make a big enough difference to justify the cost over .infos. I will deliver a few % higher with a .com. BUT, that few % if you have decent data can mean the difference of a lot of $. Long story short, not worth it to buy .coms IMO for GI.

.com vs. .info could make a big difference if you get a manual review. There are virtually no branded sites that use .info domains.

Thanks for the input. Those are both good factors to consider.

i have found that gmail uses .com vs. .info in its spam rating somehow. You can learn who it makes a difference with by testing emails by getting accounts with yh, hotm, gmail etc. and then seeing what gets into inbox.
