I am mailing GI. When I start mailing new data after running Impressionwise, I try to mail, scrub my hard bounces and build a "deliverables" list from the master file. I tend to send these emails overnight (not sure if that is relevant). Basically, my master file gets cleaned from IW and Hard bounces, I then separate Openers and Deliverables and I do this until I decide that I have gotten all the deliverables out of the list as possible. I haven't tested this but am going to tonight, is there any benefit to slowing delivery? I take the master list and slow delivery overnight to 1K or 2K a minute? Less? More? Any thoughts on that? Recommendations? Thanks in advance Arthur
Hi Arthur, In my experience you want to do the opposite - mail GI as fast as you can. This is assuming you are using the same campaign / subject lines for the entire drop. Generally, the longer you stretch out a GI drop, the more deliverability issues you'll encounter. Also, once you've got your clean file, try ordering your deliveries so that your most responsive users (with bots removed) get delivered first. And while you're cleaning your new data, make sure you randomize the order so you don't have records that are always stuck at the end of the drop (and therefore less likely to get delivered). -Red
