I'm speaking from personal experience, but I tend to stay away from any network that uses Direct Track. In short, I've had way too many discrepancies with networks using DT and when confronted they never had a good reason for 95% of my clicks going MIA. Even more disappointed with some of the networks not doing good and compensating me for the complete lack of tracking. Therefore, I keep to networks that use Hit Path. Discrepancies are very minimal and I've never had an issue where 95% of my clicks on an offer went missing and believe me, it happened a lot with DT. So what do you think?
The guys at HitPath are solid, I've known them for years, totally trust their platform. I can say the same for LinkTrust, used it myself and I know it to be very good. Keep your eyes out for networks making the move to Cake, they're the next player on the block. :top:
literally everyone in this business is convinced direct track steals clicks / leads.. whether it's well founded or not i'm amazed people still use it just due to the sheer resistance/skepticism of it in the industry.
Malicious or not, disappearance of clicks benefits the advertiser and the network. The result is the same it is the money out of the pocket of the publisher while the network / advertiser are complicit.
We use CAKE, while still relatively new, the tracking is superb and allows for many customizable features
Cake & HP are both have usage based tiered pricing. If you know one, the other isn't far off. CP - hit me up if you want specifics and a little "insider" advice. :listen:
