I was wondering if anybody out there had done any recent split tests on double opt in data versus single opt in data. For the past year we have been mailing to our customers after they have opted in on one of many websites, but I am wondering how much more likely a consumer will trust our brand if we send out a double opt in email first, and then follow up with with standard operations. Additionally, if you have any suggestions for our double opt in email in regards to from and subject lines, message body, etc. I would love to hear them.
