Until Silicon Valley comes up with an app that is an email killer, it will keep growing.

Email will keep going... The biggest change in the last several years is that a lot of people check the emails on a mobile device.

Email is still the best option to control what (not) to see when you're actually looking for something so @Calver Fitz get your things together, gather your data and start doing what you're planning to do.

It's not going away anytime soon, everyone for the most part interacts with their email on a mobile platform (namely their phone). So that subject line becomes the most important real estate in the email, then the first sentence in the email, that's what's going to determine if someone actually opens it, or swipe deletes it. There has been studies by mailchimp and open rates based on keywords in the subject. If your interested in data take a look at this blog: https://blog.mailchimp.com/subject-line-data-choose-your-words-wisely/

Just being aware of these little tips can make a big overall impact with your plans.
