The Email Insider Summit is a totally unique event where the biggest brands and brightest minds caucus for three-days on state of email marketing. The event, hosted at a luxury resort, is perfectly structured to offer all attendees the most valuable mix of high-level sessions and networking functions. Moreover, the Summit format fosters lasting community building among marketers, agency executives and email service providers. In a non-competitive, supportive, think-tank environment, the community shares experiences, new ideas, and successful strategies to improve both their own and other’s email campaigns and the channel as a whole. The Email Insider Summit offers far and away the most robust attendee experience - and the benefits from the experience lasts long after the show ends.

What is the feedback on this event? I've never gone and have considered it. Is it worthwhile?

These places are excellent to visit if you wish to see a bunch of men in their50s wearing suits discussing the one time they accidentally let one email address get mailed that was only single optin and had to go to confession the next day.

It really depends on the type of people attending, and whether they would fit the need for what you want to get out of the meetup. I'd suggest attending a few other smaller meetups/conferences that are more specifically targeted to your needs in order to get the most out of the opportunity

    Email Summit

These events are primarily focused on the issues facing B2C brand marketers i.e. coke, jetblue, etc. If you want to understand that world it's a great event. Basically if you run affiliate offers it is a waste of your time, you're better off going to aff summit, leads con, ad tech, etc and meeting other people more closely related to what you do.

Well, if you listen to guys like Roundy or Kouzmanoff, one of the key's to successful emailing is "blending". If you were going to try to use this approach it might be wise to attend something like this to see what these guys are gonna try next. Not to mention that if it is a geriatric core group of attendees it could be a free for all with regard to the local "talent"....

I think I might give this one a try...

Yeah, blending is great business practice. Also, if enough ppl from this forum go to the conference, we can still have a great time. :)

Its kind of like the landlords who have strip malls but are not afraid to open up franchise businesses to absorb their own rentroll.
