Anyone have good experience with email verifier software for finding bounces?

a lot of them are junk.
better to just mail off some throwaway vps and log/remove the bounces

I found a couple that I have to test and compare. VPS is probably easiest, but I have a shitload of data and wondered if I can pump out enough before I get banned.

You'll probably need to make a number of passes to remove bounces, flag the delivered and then re-mail the "connection refused" etc until the list is done

Throwaway vps still requires warming ips to avoid 5xx errors. I may be wrong, but I think I might be better off with an email verifier with decent rep IPs.

how do you think "cold" IPs connect to the domains mail servers before they are considered "warm" ;)

My thinking is if the mails are marked as spam, then I could have avoided the 5xx error by using a versifier. I guess I will learn by trial and error.

if its marked as spam its not a bounce though. it got through. The throwaway vps isn't to help you get in the inbox you just want to see which emails hard bounce and which don't.

You could also pay for this kind of stuff using Bridge Marketing or ehygienics.com but if you're able to log bounces its much cheaper using a $10 VPS and more effective IMO

    Good luck
