Does anyone know how to get things like Monster.com or Ladders.com Jobs results to show directly into an email? Ive seen some companies do this. If there is any insight on what I can use to get this strategy to be used in my emails that would be good! Please help, thanks
It's called content blocks. Basically you place a tag inside your email creative with a URL in it. The system makes a call to the URL inside that tag on a per recipient basis and pulls content from the target website (could be your plugin that returns jobs based off a zip code, etc) we have several clients sending job alerts, specially those mailing credit report offers.
That would be something that your list manager/mailing software would handle during mailing. Every injector I ever wrote had a macro that would pull content from a remote url.. As far as I know you can't remotely include html frames, iframes or javascript with any major webmail, outlook, or thunderbird mail client.
