I have a quick question. Thanks in advance for the answer.

I just did a drop for 100k my stats are :

    438 opens
    84 clicks
    0 conversions
    this is biz op data

It seems like most of my email opens are coming from AOL and thats it are these stats normal or should I be seeing more opens:? BTW this is the 1st day of mailing it.

Since there is so many variables at play its impossible to say but overall id say Thats a pretty respectable open rate for your first drop ever and to an unwarmed list. Keep working on your deliverability and clean up the data and it'll improve.

The 84 clicks no conversions on the other hand could use quite a bit of improvement :)

One thing to note is that sending, delivering, and inboxing are completely different things..

What is the composition of your data in terms of recipient domains?

What was your mailing strategy as far as ip usage goes? What ESP?

Should be able to do better than 84 clicks -> 0 conversions. The other, we really dont have enough data..

Are you even sure your clicks are real? Depending on the mailing system they might be reporting the bots...

How big was the drop is anither question too. 500 went out and u have over 400 open, ur probably in "God Mode" in this game. The formular to calculate ur stat is this, of course after u remove the bot from ur data

    Open rate: <current open> * 100/ <total went Out>
I believe with avg data, u should have about 10%, the higher the better
    Click rate : <current click>* 100/ <current open>
    should be at least 10%

Thats what I normally do to see how the data perform

Im assuming my clicks are real. I am using interspire when I check in the opened emails stats i have over 600 emails opened.I can actually see the email addresses that opened the email.

    my drop is for 100k

seems like i got around 400-500 opened emails and about 100-161 email clicks.

Did you mail today as well? How did that go?

Mailing is a whole bunch of experimentation...

    What offer did you send?

We dont like interspire mainly because it does a poor job of getting things done at a larger scale. If it works for you then fine.

I'd try another offer to the same batch of data. If you have "biz op" data, those people probally already bought into a biz op type offer and have either lost money and willl never try another a work from home type of offer again or they're working from home making them a bunch of money and they dont need more biz op offers. Try a payday offer with that data. They obviously are looking to make money.
