What's the amount of drops you guys do per day? Would it be wise to drop once then one again after about 4 hours? I am mailing to a GI list.

When I mailed GI that's pretty much how I did it too, but then again that was a different world. People now say it's bad to do that. How is that working for you?

Servers are like airplane seats... So if you are paying for it you should use it. We are all building an openers file, clickers, deliverables ... There are times of day for everything. 3am might not be an optimal revenue time but is a good time for new data and scrubbing hard bounces.

    Just my opinion.

Are you saying you mail on 1 ip non stop 24/7?? That doesnt sound healthy.

You guys actually mail 24/7 on fresh ips? Or do you reuse old ips after a certain time. After a certain time its feels like a waste of resources.

for me, I mail between 5AM til around 10 or 11 PM. I have a space about 20 mins between each drop to let the server cool down a bit (even airplane gotta have sometime to refill the tank lol). and I move from 1 IP to another until the end of the range, then go back to the first one again

    lol SG,

I try to keep it belows 500k for each IP, hell, even that's still a lots if you think about it. Try to keep less hard bounce 'cause that will kill your IP rep. I dont know what people think, but I believe no matter what domain you mail to, GI, cable, big 4, your IP rep is always important.
