    You can create text-only marketing emails. In fact, they sometimes perform better than HTML emails. Here are a few tips if you want to test the waters:


    • [*]Restrict the line length to 60 characters

      [*]Be concise, limiting copy to 100 words or less is generally advised
      [*]
      [*]Place links on their own lines to improve readability
      [*]
      [*]Justify text to the left margin
      [*]
      [*]Use caps and special characters to highlight text and separate sections of the email since formatting options are limited

      [*]Don't place periods or other punctuation marks immediately after a URL link since that may impact redirection

      [*]Use white space around paragraphs
