So a little introduction i guess wouldn't be a bad thing. I wouldn't go so far as to say im a noob to marketing, however, to mailing, im completely unaware of how this works in the whitehat setting. Ive never mailed blackhat, and im aware of this forums terms, so please read before passing judgement, but i know a few who do and im looking for a long term, recurring income and quite frankly id rather have my networks and my isp/dc's backing me instead of looking at several million in fines. I have a family to think about and this is my main reason for wanting to go into a whitehat setting. Now, a bit about my technical history. Ive managed several different types of servers from dns to apache and my fave flave of linux is centos/rh. 5 or 6, though preferably v6 and always run 64bit. I code solidly in 4 different languages html5[css3]/php/vb.net/javascript, currently learning to delphi, and i work with mysql databases constantly. Basically what im after is the ability to work from home. Im starting to realize that you make your own path unless youre a lucky shit and had your parents make a decent size inheritance for you. The job markets are extremely volatile right now and instead of bitching about not being able to find a job id prefer to make my own. Though lately it seems nickles are keeping me from dollars? if that makes sense. with that being said, if there is any information that any of you can point me towards/offer me as a beginner in mailing it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance and i look forward to getting to know you all and learning how to tame the beast known as bulk mailing.
