This is one of the subjects that I never got a full answer for. For example if a certain filter is too aggressive and you are looking for ways to pass the filter. Just wanted to see what kind of answers are out there.
Well it definitely increases delivery, fastest way to get all your ips blocked is to send the exact same content over and over. But I think you answered your own question in the first 6 words you said ... it "increases delivery". Your delivery isn't increased because they like you to mix it up, it increases because they don't have an exact copy of a known message they don't like. So if they don't like your content and you change it to avoid instant detection, they consider that tricking their filters, hence the word spam is used. Basically any email they dont like is treated like spam, whether its legal email or not.
Well you need to be clear on the term "spinning" .:22: There's nothing wrong with changing words around in an effort to be more "filter friendly" The trouble begins when you advertise something like "type in your zip and we'll tell you what your home is worth" BIG NONO, just look at the advertiser requirements and respect their adcopy as much as you can or get approval for your own.
Spinning content is a generic SEO term used to describe the process of rewriting text. It usually all rewritten by a program. Google markov chain.
Yes, but you can also consider it rewriting copy because the demographics of each list are different therefore you need different copy for each list... can you tell that I have had some practice at this? Anyways, I would suggest never mailing out of the box creatives from a network unless it's a big branded advertiser. Just make sure if you are making changes you are getting the approval from the network you are running with AND you are making sure they keep your creatives exclusive to you. That is super important. And don't spin the copy in a way that is deceptive.
