    hello Everyone

I'm a newbie here and have been marketing online since 1999. I've recently become interested in bulk emailing and have some questions.

I've tried bulk emailing in the past with no luck, i've lost ISP's and hosting accounts in my quest to do this, I really need help.

    My questions are:

What is the cheapest way to get into this?

What are the best email mailing services to use?

What are the best place to get leads?

    What about offers to promote?

What else do I need to know?

Thankyou in advance for everyone's help.

    Best Regards

    Dan Baerg

    Hey guys,
Relatively new myself. Some Interspire exp...if that even counts with you lot! ;P

After reading the threads it seems the general consensus is that your data determines your platform choice (eg. Volo=TLD, Kobeni= GI).

In this day and age why is it so difficult to configure a single platform to handle ALL domains?

    Thanks,
    Freedom

It's not. Lots of people use the same platform for everything.

    Dan -

While I know you're trying to get into email the most cost effective way you can, do me a favor and put a price tag on your failures so far - just for my sake as well as the others here so we can see what you've got invested in this quest so far. A few things might surprise you.

So let me address your questions:

    1. Seems like you went the "cheapest way" and now you're here asking for help. Maybe rephrase your question more like "what is the most cost effective platform/solution I can get on a budget of $xxxx"

    2. The "best" is never the "cheapest" so take it off your wish list.

    3. If by "leads" you mean data - you have a ton of options but there are some very reputable data guys on here as well as others with data on rev share that might help you out.

    4. Offers - you'll never EVER stop learning what offers to run/test/keep in rotation - it's part of emailing as well as learning your data. You gotta roll up your sleeves and just start dropping. Also - getting on a solid network with knowledgable reps is a BIG help in this area - you can't go wrong with CrushAds or A4D.

    5. What else do you need to know? Well - you'll never stop learning. You'll never stop making mistakes. You'll never stop spending money to do both. Mailing isn't cheap. What works today won't work tomorrow. As soon as you think you got it all figured out and get lazy - mail will bite you right in the ass and you'll be back at square one.

Get yourself a budget put together. Look at several solutions before you decide where to spend your money. Weigh the pro's and con's of each platform/solution such as cost, scalability, performance, etc. and figure out how long you can survive in email WITHOUT MAKING A DIME!! You should have no less than 3 months budget available to spend in the event you don't make your first million in a few drops. Set realistic earning/learning goals and don't give up when you hit a wall.

If you go into this with your eyes/ears open and you learn from those around you, you just might become another solid emailer in this industry. If you choose to nickle and dime this because you think it's easy...I'll take a Dr. Pepper with my #1 and super size it for me.

    Best of luck!

I think he's looking for someone to hold his hands and show him the ropes it took us years to acquire.

    You have 2 choices:
1.) Pay a mailer a lot of money to show you the ropes.
2.) Start reading the numerous threads in this forum and try to apply what you have learned. It won't be easy and you will make mistakes along the way.

    Good luck.

I started working with Push two months ago and my budget was 2k. I didn't make that back the first month but now in month two im looking at Revenue of around 3k with a profit of 2k. With the help of PushSend I have everything lined up to at least double that in March. I hope that is helpful coming from a noob?

Yeah really.. I'm sure he's selling some 'nulled' warez clown version that his crack team of curry fueled 'software engineers' have made even worse.
