    Hey guys

Don't want you to think I'm lurking so I thought I would introduce myself. Just started mailing for myself, was working in a support role for a mailer for the last few months and we generated a good amount of revenue (high expenses though).

Before that I ran the design team for an affiliate company.

I got some decent data, started mailing through an ESP and am generating about $100-$200 a day in revenue. It has been up and down though, currently down, and I'm concerned that I haven't learned anything since really all I do now is load up my list, work on a text creative and mail out.

Any advice on learning would be appreciated. I've been immersing myself in Mailer Forum and just trying to pick up everything that I can. I have a couple of mentors but the key is asking the right questions, and I'm still trying to figure out what those are :)

Although I'm new, I'm happy to share anything that I can and what I have seen so far is that mailing through pre sale page is the way to go. Seems to blow up conversions if it's the right page.

    Thanks everybody!

    Thanks for the intro mailman23!

What ESP are you currently using? You mentioned revenues are down now, is it due to some blockage on your domains?

I'm using xoopa right now. I'm interested in seeing what else is out there though. Since day 1 I have always had trouble with Razor, the lowest I have ever gotten my spam score was 2.7.

Doesn't look to be too much blockage at this point, but my opens and clicks are down across the board. I have sent out subject lines and creatives that are pretty similar to each other, so what I probably have to do is vary those a lot more...
