Is my AM lazy? See incidents below that have gotten on my nerves. Maybe I'm being a dick or expecting too much. But I'm essentially handing them money...I understand I'm not a huge pub (or the only one) but I'm growing fast and have done well for my first couple of weeks.

-I'm sweating bullets about the tracking system "delaying" reporting of clicks/conversions and it takes hours to get an IM response of "we're waiting on them" (tracking provider) (this happened last week too just not as long)

(During the incident above - she had time to upload pics of herself at a club to Facebook but takes forever and a half to reply to my question. Although - image is important in this business...lol

    Today:
-I ask for a campaign approval it gets done about five hours later. I can deal with that - it takes me 10 min to load an offer. Anyway, 15 min before close of business "I need a copy of how the e-mail will look from your system" Ok, no problem....but you should have told me that four hours ago when you approved the campaign. If I had been out and missed your IM - I wouldn't have been able to drop tomorrow.

    Friday:
-I ask for some campaigns that I should run for the weekend at 10:30 AM - I don't get them till 4:30. What really annoys me if is she made a big deal that it takes so long to gather, yet all I got was a list of all new campaigns for the network. Over half of which I couldn't run because they didn't accept e-mail. Lots of hard work eh? Plus almost all of them needed approval so I couldn't run any over the weekend anyway.

I make an effort to be extra nice, I'm not jumping down her throat or being pushy. Might I add, this network has several AMs.

    Thanks for your input.

If I got a complaint like this about someone on my team I wouldn't be happy! Right now fraud is rampant in our industry and competition is fierce, so legitimate publishers deserve priority.

I would love for you to give Crush a chance... we have a solid selection of offers and a bunch of cool stuff in the works including some big data opportunities! We will also pay weekly once we have confirmation from our advertisers that traffic is legitimate. /shameless plug =)

Indeed I agree with Crackpot, there are way too many networks out there to waste your time with one that wont give you what you need, when you need it. This is a time sensitive industry, therefore don't wast your time with a network that lets you wait :261: But from what I can see it doesn't look like your AM is super responsive and what's with the delayed reporting ????

hummm...Hitpath is one of the better tracking systems, while its not unheard of for a tracking system to have "issues" the better question to ask the network exactly what type of issue they are experiencing? They may just have an issue connecting with the network. Lord knows there aren't many people who will fess-up and take accountability in this industry, since it means someone will have to pay for lost rev. Just make sure you're running on multipul networks in order to avoid issues like this in the future

If stats are delayed or missing, they should still be tracking on the advertiser side. I would make them do an audit and credit you anything that didn't track. We do this every Monday morning... I typically have any missed sales/leads added into publisher accounts by Tuesday afternoon.

a wise man once said "this is a C student industry"

most of the AM's I've dealt with are dips who do or say wacky unpredictable things like tell you an offer has no cap and then tell you you just hit the cap 2 hours later, forget about a conversation you just had 30 minutes ago, activate offers for you in the wrong account then go off the grid for the weekend, etc.

if you like the network otherwise i'd just switch am's, you could be polite and say your current AM is too busy/overloaded or whatever.
