Anybody heard of these guys? Apparently they are data verifiers that contacted me looking to verify data.
Hi SG, I disagree: Quickie Marketing has very good data to scrub against as well. Skrilla - I am in talks with LeadSpend right now. They verify undeliverables. They do NOT identify traps if that is what you are looking for. We will be running a test with them and will let people know how it goes if there is interest. Jedi
Hi. My name is Craig Swerdloff and I am the CEO of LeadSpend. I am new to the MailerForum, and really excited to see LeadSpend being discussed here. Let me answer the question around what we do and do not identify. LeadSpend's real-time email validation service identifies unknown users (hard bounces), disposable email addresses, and what we call illegitimate email addresses including seed addresses, black holes, technical role accounts or inactive domains. We also identify some spam traps, but only those specifically tied to blacklisting organizations. We do not attempt to identify spam traps or honeypot addresses at the four major ISP's. There are a couple of members of the MailerForum testing our service currently. I hope they will speak here about the performance of our service after the tests are complete. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions.
Skrilla, We use LeadSpend. Call me, or drop by the office if you want to discuss in person... Good people, great service that does exactly what they advertise. Not a replacement for Impressionwise, but a great service for catching hard bounces and other undeliverable mail. Specifically, we use LeadSpend right before we mail... ie. after the other big bulk hygiene services, so that we can catch anything else that might have slipped through. Perfect for that kind of application.
Hi Johnengler, thanks for the the feedback! I actually had a great conversation with Craig yesterday and I'm looking forward to testing the platform. What intrigued me most about the system is their "real-time validation" and I'm looking forward to dropping my bounce rate from 10% to <1% and since spamtraps and honeypots aren't a concern, (since the data is confirmed cc data) I'm hoping Leadspend will be the right solution :eating: ...I'll keep you guys posted
Some of my internal processes are actually better than impression wise and some aren't (which is why I still use them). There isn't 1 that's a single solution that will get everything.
I use both Quickie and DataGenie for scrubbing. Have not hit a serious trap in over a year now - but mostly mail TLD and cables. If leadspend can truly drop the bounces below 1% then I am interested
