    Hello Fellow Mailers,

Can we have a separate click/URL domain from sending domain? or how would it effect the delivery?

Ex: abc.com is the sending domain but in email link is xyz.com/link.php

Is it necessary to have same domain in image and click url?

    Thanks in Advance

yeah that's possible and I haven't seen it have any effect on deliverable yet, though I would stay away from those link shorten-er out there, all of their domains have been blacklisted a long time ago.

You would just end up burning through twice as many domains. If you're hitting AOL and YAHOO they tend to like the link domains in the message body to be the same as the sending domain.. They do eventually shit list link domains if they receive a considerable amount of negative feedback.

I don't know who the "they" is that you're referring to, but I know from experience that most providers have some sort of system that visits the links in the message bodies.
