I currently use ROBO and am happy with it, but I am looking for a 2nd platform option. I mail specifically AOL + GI and would be looking for a solid option for those two. With AOL, it's key to be able to plug in all of the smtp back offs, and throttles. For GI, volume is the key.

It seems every month there are new options on the market, I figured I would ask for solid recommendations before going through the search myself. You're welcome to spam your goodies in thread or contact me direct.

Says every noob coming in here and gets flamed for it by me or any number of other members. You get no pass for being around long enough to know better, and less so for actually knowing enough about the various platforms out there through your dealings on the IP side. Quit being fuckin lazy....

As discussed with Kyle, perhaps if there are recurring questions of what is available for data/mta's and alike there should be a central listing or thread on the forum.

Then people could look at that one thread and know the answers without asking. I do not keep up with every new flash in the pan MTA or ESP on the market. I know of the main ones like TP, DA, Goldman, PMTA and alike. But there are many more that I have no idea about as they are not listed anywhere. My point is, if there was a central spot where everyone would have access to this info, I am sure it would be beneficial to "noobs" and vets alike looking for secondary platforms to test and try out.

Advice on which MTA to use seems like a pretty legit question to me. Not sure what the big deal is.

yes i think there should be a single thread where all the MTA's/softwares should be posted and let the people rate them and review them...

    What do you think K?

The idea of a single thread to cover ALL of the available MTA's is ludicrous! Give it a week, a month or two and as soon as that thread hits page 2 or 3 it becomes tl/dr and people once again start their own threads asking about "which MTA is the best" or some other variation of the same ol' question. This is the "ESP discussion" SECTION, specifically put here to cover these types of questions. In fact, looking at just the first page of threads in this section there are 6 or 7 options for MTA's - how is this not providing what is being asked for? Or perhaps I should digress and just say again "don't be lazy". However, in the spirit of better forum support for requests how about we do this: pin each thread for each MTA as they have been discussed already, and then upon entering the ESP discussion section, those threads are the first to been seen and therefore easily accessible for review and continued commentary. As the pinned threads accumulate, it stands to reason that most solid options for MTAs would make themselves apparent and available for review at any time.

Wow push, please...tell us more stories. Aren't you the same person who was complaining to networks about mail you were getting to your own address a few months ago?

Why do you ask? Looking for a solution yourself? Oh no, that's right! Your man crush left MF and you no longer have anyone to post with now that SG is gone. Sad when a nerdmance goes bad....even yours

Have you found a new network to push offers for yet? Don't get fired again! Or going to back to reporting fellow mailers?

My mistake.. I meant https://sendy.co/ .. A simple list manager that works with amazon SES and can support any ESP that does smtp auth.
