I know there are many mailers out there with the IEM/pmta setup. Has anyone used OEM 4 and pmta? From the looks of it, you can inject directly to your pickup directory as well as select a specific vmta to use. Years ago I messed around with v. 3 but checking out the demo for v4 looked like it might have potential.
It sucks and it's worth the money. Their inject is busted as fuck or I'm just to dumb to figure it out. I couldn't ever see a place to set what vmta you wanted to use for a certain drop. They told me oh you configure PMTA for that. Okay, that's all good, but file pickup doesn't work like that with PMTA you use the x-virtualmta header and they won't rotate etc. Also if you have a supression of several million the software will fail. Something else they fail on. The domain you have the software registered to is in every fucking email you send out with a bunch of useless headers for tracking "spammers" for the ESP. I've basically tore it apart and it'll work kinda the way I want now, but I still don't like it enough to put it into production. Soon as I get it where it needs to be code wise I will. That's something else that bothers me their code blows and so does their db schema. EDIT: I just noticed there's an update now. Maybe that will fix some of my complaints.
