Hey, My name is John, I run a private ESP called PathdropPro, We're integrated with a few different MTA's also have our own custom MTA, there's a few guys on here that use the system. Maybe some of them can shed some light on support and performance. If you have any questions or would like to see a demo, feel free to hit me up.
Hi, I have been on PathDrop about a year now. I can vouch for the fact that PathDrop is solid and nymailer is a great guy to work with. The support is excellent and nymailer always comes through. Nymailer was up until 7am the other day making sure a new control server was working and that I could send mail that day. Its an awesome platform to get started on and I plan to stay with it until I get kicked off.
I mail from 5 different systems and PathDrop Pro is now my primary go-to platform. Many components of previous ESPs you may have worked with: easy to use, very flexible and delivers/converts GREAT! John is a straight-up guy and this system just works. Please check it out, even if it's a back-up system or one of many (we all know how to "distribute the risk" in this e-mail biz)... this system is not a risk, but an asset and benefit to your operations! ;-)
I've been using Pathdrop for a few months, and I have 15 active servers on my client...the interface is clearly made by a mailer. I'm doing less drops and making more money than the other platforms I've used. Also, it has many features that other systems don't have yet. No delay in drops...no waiting 15- 20 mins for drops to deploy...everything working smooth...if anyone has any questions...feel free to hit me up.
There's a lot of truth in the posts above. As someone who has watched this platform develop since day one, I can easily say that John knows what mailers need (not to be mistaken with what mailers 'want'). Top notch product. Top notch guy. Do yourself a favor and hit him up.
John is a good guy. I've known him for a long time. I haven't used his system, but I can vouch for his character. If he says he's has something or will do something you can actually believe him.
I have used this platform for about a month now. Its solid and gets the job done, and can do the tasks I have thrown at it. The interface is extremely clean and efficient, which is important when managing many drops a day. Imports, merges, splits lists quickly. Deals with large suppressions well. Gets the mail out quickly (or not if you set it to..) I have been working with John on other capacities for about 2 years now and can say he is a great person to work with. He isn't just looking to make a quick buck and move on, he has a sincere interest in helping mailers run a successful operation.
I have been working with John and PathdropPro for more than a year now and I can tell you without hesitation that it has been the best experience I have had with any ESP...and I have worked with a lot of them. These guys are hands on, always looking to improve, always looking for feedback. he environment they are creating with an excellent software system, valuable experience and feedback and hands on customer service only ensures one thing: Success! I would recommend them to ANY mailer I know...
It's not really a big 4 system, we have have another system that's just about to be released for big 4 which will be a game changer.
Good guy, amazing platform. You can tell some real work went into this thing and his developers are extremely experienced. Being a developer when using something like this you realize the complications these guys working on pathdrop had to overcome and they did so extremely well, I would recommend this platform to anyone. It's not complicated, it's easy to use and john does a real good job with supporting his consumers using it. I personally never had a license myself but if I wasn't developing my own, pathdrop would be my first choice over any other ESP(s) I've seen.
John is a very nice guy. During our conversations he's been knowledgeable and engaging. I will certainly be giving him more business in the future.
JohnnySC from Wickedfire is a cool cat. I'm sure he's made something nice all though I haven't tried it myself yet. I can say John's good people.
This endorsement goes a long way. If you get a thumbs up from crackpipe, you can take that to the bank. He's one of the more knowledgeable guys in the space. :thrasher:
Oh yeah, I can vouch for the guy, he's probably one of the most knowledgeable in the mailing space I have ever met before, also a pretty cool guy too.
