I'm guilty of being a retard on 2 offers I was just too lazy to check the stats on for the past two weeks, having them run on Auto Pilot. Got me thinking.. am I the only retard out there, or perhaps have one of you been slightly guilty of mailing an offer and just not checking the stats on it, only to find out later you got 7000 clicks and $0. Please fill out the poll. I doubt anybody will top 2 weeks, but I'm so angry at myself for not checking on this one offer for so long, I'm going to place the duncehat on for awhile...
If it's an offer that I had to set up manually, I'll check it quite often - mostly to make sure I didn't waste my time setting it up in the first place. That's been difficult with OBMedia offers because of their lag time. It makes it hard for me to know if I need to make adjustments with the offers.
It's close to impossible with OB because of the lag which blows because their creatives and LPs fuckin blow. I would have added in a option for "every couple of hours" as I will check periodically throughout the day as long as I'm online. Hell, I keep a browser open with all affiliate sites open that have running offers that day. :34: @ Roundy
Well I'm one of those crazies that checks every few minutes. I've been conditioned to do so, since I've had soooo many issues with tracking. It's happended to me on a few occasions where clicks were coming through but the advertiser site was down or having issues. People don't realize if an offer is HOT and loads of people are mailing it, crashes and hiccups can occur which can really impact your rev, so take a few seconds and check your stats. Also, let your AM know if your getting loads of clicks and ZERO conversions, sometimes they can redirect the offer to a better landing or offer.
i reflexively refresh multiple times per hour... I really want an app that tracks my stats across all the networks for me and puts it into one interface. sometimes when an offer is rocking and i have no reason to expect tracking issues i deliberately wont look for awhile to get the 'surprise' of a big number you can also use 3rd party uptimes sites, or your own script, to make sure your links are working, but that doesn't solve the issue of an tracking / conversions on the ad network or advertiser going down
I know I read somewhere recently or someone told me they were building (I'll ask someone I know) a tool to do this. But in the mean time, this might help you out. Let me know if thisa is what you were looking for. http://superaffiliate.org/tracking202-review-free-super-affiliate-tracking-software/ :eating:
www.statsremote.com What you seek, sir(s) Had I not been lazy and put this network into StatsRemote, well, this post wouldnt have been created.
Roundy, how about you hook a brother up with a copy of that shit! :itsme: This is another option, a little less expensive: http://www.affmeter.com/features.php
Nice find guys, I'm a STATS whore and I love these tools. I might give the free trial a test drive :006:
StatsRemote is a GREAT service, well worth the $30+ a month, you can literally put EVERYTHING you run in there... I don't think their software is cracked, etc, but if it were, I wouldn't do it, as I love these guys and feel they deserve as many people as possible for their great product. Give it a shot ;-)
hmm statsremote doesn't seem to work perfectly.. it says i'm at $350 more in an account today than i actually am it also doesn't seem to show the offers just the grand total
Check this out... not sure how well it works. I am friends with the owner on Fb and his posts always seem legit. =) http://beta.bevomedia.com/Networks.html
FREE rulz!! Here's one, free, needs to have networks added to it but it might do the trick! But it's literally BRAND NEW so you might see it act a bit funny. If you help get it shaped up, you'll have yourself a nice tool! http://code.google.com/p/cpa-stats-monitor/
I wouldnt trust a free app, if you think about it, your logins and passwords for networks are very important, I'd wager some of these guys offer this free app to take a peek at what you're pushing... one never knows ;-)
As if paying for one guarantees your shit is safe? I hardly think so. I know who wrote this free app and they provide the source code so I'm guessing that a good coder could pull out any fishy looking shit and modify it according to their needs.
I refresh every few minutes, but this is mainly for tracking reasons. I've had networks totally screw up and not get any sales tracked when the offer is definitely converting. This seems to happen more on smaller networks that broker offers from big networks. So now if within 20 minutes of hitting "send" I don't see some conversions on simple converting offers with tons of clicks, I freak out.
push yeah i'm using the demo version... it's kind of cool but not super thrilled with it, accuracy isnt great and you can't get a per offer breakdown, but it's definitely more convenient than multiple tabs in my browser
