You're not at the right forum if this is your mindset. Maybe you should try BHW.

No, no, no, no, no. You were doing fine. You had been courteous and receptive to courtesy. You had established trust with the embarrassing truth about your noobiquity, and now this ham-handed segue into Craigslist spam? (pause) It won't do.

Well, either way, definitely not in the right place. This is a mailer's forum, spammers and anti's have nanae and bhw for this kind of topics

I am keeping an open mind. I just want him to answer an open-ended question and give us his story.

Jesus christ what's with all the new comers, first I spot a guy offering scraping services to someone, then another guy talks about using a random/fake address in his emails, now this guy asking about mailing CL emails.

Is it really that hard to be legit about your mailing people?

I know for damn sure if someone emailed me from a CL email I'd be interested in a suit only reason I even say that is because 99% of people in craigslist are people who are down on luck and looking to make money any way they can, so yeah they would be sue happy (agreeing with HolyProfitz)

Roundy I think with all these new comers you're gonna have to make a little announcement below the banner "THIS ISN'T A BLACK HAT FORUM, DON'T THINK ABOUT POSTING ABOUT NON-CAN SPAM METHODS!" Lol.

Pretty sure it has something to do with the summer. Forum was pretty mellow during the winter and there's been a big burst of new comers in the past little while.

    Sohrabalborzian asked an honest question.

Believe or not as a newbie like myself......I sometime don't even recognize if its BH or WH methods......
    Learning is by asking questions

Learning is not always by asking questions you have to do research just like everyone else has had to do to be able to provide answers to questions where it's not common sense,

It's a very simple rule if you've done the research.

If the person hasn't expressed that they want your emails then you don't email them, if you have emailed them and they express that they no longer want them you don't send them.

People who post ads on craigslist aren't saying "Hey I'm opting in to receive spam from everyone on the internet, spam me please.",

If you posted an ad on craigslist would you want people emailing you?, Simple as that.

Also beyond that person just not wanting those emails the Law protects them from receiving such as it's not CAN-Spam compliant because this person hasn't given you or any advertiser consent to email them.

Blackhat methods are anything which doesn't follow the CAN-Spam Compliance,
    Whitehat methods do.

So maybe before you even start mailing and saying "Oh well I didn't know I'm a noobie", You should actually read the laws which pertain to what you're attempting to do.

I find it peculiar that he actually said 'spamming craigslist emails'. One would think even a newbie would refrain from using such a word. It's like saying 'happy ending' in a classy hotel massage parlor.

    [QUOTE [/QUOTE]

Apply to SOME PEOPLE NOT ALL....
From what I've learned these past few weeks...Bulk mailing industry is a cutthroat business to be in, and everyone tends to be secretly keep their "Know How" and only leak some basic information to public.
So what happen to the Proverb: "Share the Wealth" unfortunately it doesn't apply in bulk mailing business...

Mass majority of people in this M.F very smart and they have ability to process faster than others, and to some people they might have slower reaction and lack of common sense, and they WELL deserved hand slap.

Research? to some degrees, as far as i know, there is no guideline or step by step when it comes to mailing, NOT all the resources are available online about bulk mailing. Learning is by asking...."its ALL about learning process, trials & erros"....

    Sort of yes and no;
Post and Ad to selling items, offering services, gigs and information on housing..."YES".
Sections like: Discussion forums, Personals & Community: Majority of people ask for advices, guidance...all sort of things in there.

CAN-Spam compliant? That's why M.F has the Noob Thread for a reason. Some people don't know if a CAN-Spam even exist.
If M.F purposely only reserved for "Intermediate and Advance mailer" that would have been a whole different scenarios.

Last but not least, Everyone can join MailerForum it's NOT by invitation only .
