Anyone using Robomail? We are thinking about getting a license but want to hear some feedback from the Mailer Community first.
I've been using it for over three years and am very happy with it. It's powerful, very reliable and fast. I have no complaints at all and support is top notch.
Number of people needed to run Robo = 10/# of hours a week Keith helps u. Great platform if you are willing to learn the tech. If you are its totally worth it.
Anyone got any good resources for learning the technical side of robo mail? Id be interested to see how complex it is before looking at making the investment...
For the time with Keith alone it's worth it! I'm sure cousinvinnie will be there too...but still :itsme:
I dont own a license, but for what it's worth I have a partner who has multiple licenses and swears by it...with his operation licenses pay for themselves the 1st month.
I would use it if i Could find someone to tune and dial it in to get good delivery and then help me tweak it along the way.
Which is why I asked jpcserv how many people he had helping run it. I got a demo of Robo and was thoroughly impressed with the platform but quickly saw I would need a team of people to truly make it hum. I can't say I won't put that team together one of these days and holla at the guys over at Robo, but I'm very happy now using the platforms I have because I can do everything I need to without the help or need of others. While I still depend on people to do certain things, it's not like with Robo (IMO), I saw it as a bit more advanced or robust than I felt I could handle. I could be selling myself short, but thats my .02
I will say one of the most impressive automations Adlinkr has done to date is with Robomail. We automate the redirects, html templates, loading of body , subject and from files, and practically the whole start mailing page. Sounds like a shameless plug, but you wouldn't need a team of people to tweak the throttling and delivery settings if you were using Adlinkr to load campaigns. If you'd like to see a demo of what we've done with that platform i'd be more than happy to show you.
It appears Keith from Robomail left inter7 - does anyone know who is now taking charge of this position? Are they as competent in the space as him? Could anyone identify any major flaws in Robomail?
Keith just signed back on here yesterday (as Kouzmanoff) so hopefully we'll get the story of what happened...
