Hey everyone, VERY new to mailing and I just wanted to get some opinions on here. I have the ability to obtain hundreds of SMTP servers for mailing. What are the disadvantages to using this way of mailing? Thanks!
Do the owners of the hundreds of SMTP servers know your intended usage or even your planned usage? If they do not, that is a bad idea.
The first obvious problem is you would be accessing a protected computer system without permission to relay commercial email. That's a violation of US Federal law. If you don't live in the US, good for you. If the servers are not in the US, great. The servers are probably known open-relays and are on several blacklists. Either way it is still a bad idea, most advertisers won't allow non-compliant email methods.
I think the downside of this thread/conversation is someone's ass getting banned. Really? They don't know what you're going to do with the servers??? Fuck off. Legit email questions or this isn't the place for you. Consider yourself warned.
Everyone knows that this is one form of email marketing - so I don't know why you say that its not a legit form of emailling. Regardless, blackhat marketing exists and this is just one method. If anyone has any insight on his, pm me. I'll gladly rev share.

Yeah man, Push we don't need that kind of thing. He has 3 posts and most of them have to do with his trojan bots blackhat bullshit. Please permi ban him. Considering life and times he shouldnt get another chance.
I fired a shot across his bow and haven't seen him back since. If he comes back and posts up some stupid shit, he'll get banned permanently. I don't think anyone can accuse me of being weak on blackhat bullshit here, but I'm not really going to open the door for ban requests. If you think someone needs to be banned, you can PM me with your justification.
