    Anyone know of any free tools to spam check your email before you sent it out?

    Google it - RAZOR, SpamAssassin, etc.

    Or just set up a hosting account with someone who uses SA, send yourself test and check them in Outlook for your scores.

    Yes mail tester is good tool to check the mail whether it is spam or not.
