How many "Spam Kings" are there???
Google/Yahoo might be it
Or GMX and their "GMX Recommendations" might also be pulling in serious bank
So the sentence has finally came down. 30 days isnt hard. Its the 5 years probation with no computer use that is hard.
30 months actually.
but probably less with good behavior, parole, etc
Ohh I misread that. =x Yea guys like him will behave. Hopefully he gets a break.
So he was already had a court order banning him from Facebook for spamming, and then he ignored it. Some guys never learn...
I would be interested in reading about how Facebook uncovered that it was actually him behind the spamming, because it seems like he did take some steps to try to cover his tracks.
It would be interesting to know how they found out.
At the end of the day all you have to do is follow the money!!!
There is only one Spam king, That's Michael Persaud
I think there are a lot of russians, chinesse, indians and nigerians that nobody knows about them and are bigger spammers than Michael Persaud.
Yeah, Michael was one of my customers back when I offered these kind of services.
Actually he made me famous ....
is he now in jail?
No, not yet.
As for MichaelP I have done business with him over the years going way back. Worked with him in 2011 on some things.
Will be sad to see him go if it comes to that.
What are the things he is doing that is getting him into trouble and not others?
Simply mailing from a dedicated server instead of sending from you home internet isp is illegal in the eyes of the FBI.
Neah, he made some wire scams/fraud with his email marketing business
My point was that the FBI thinks everyone here is breaking the law.
I think that FBI doesn't give a shit if you do email marketing for some legal ecommercee websites or some apps for example.
The problem are paypal and credit card scams.
