Looks like Yahoo is at it again :shot: they seem to be making some alterations which is affecting loads of mailers even certified senders across the board. The ESP's are working on a way to mitigate the issue. However, in the mean time does anyone have any suggestions besides scaling back email to only actives ??
Ha..I still don't understand why no one in a newtwork has planted a mole in Yahoo postmaster ???? Come one guys!!!!!!!!!
No Man, Double Agent, works for a mailer or network but also works for Yahoo postmaster and relays info. I infiltrated yahoo once about 3yrs ago by dating one of the marketing directors, but he got canned before I could get any good intel....I was so close
LOL.........when you put it like that you make it sound so cruel...someone gotta take one for the team:35:
Same here, though I know a bunch of mailers having issues right now... "And I'm hovering like a fly, Waiting for the windshield on the freeway.." -- Genesis
Ok, so after two weeks of anaylsis it was concluded that the following reason yahoo is now bulking: After analyzing Yahoo data on your account as well as some other accounts that are currently having issues, we found out that the fundamental problem variable is often data sharing. We took a random sample of 15 Yahoo email addresses from your account and we were able to find all addresses on other accounts here at abc.esp We have access to a lot of information, but this analysis tells only how shared your data is among abc.esp clients and platform, but in the reality it can be a lot more shared in other ESPs and platforms. After analyzing data sharing more here, we found out that UK data (@yahoo.co.uk) tend to be less shared and in many cases UK addresses reached 100% Inbox and we are not sure if it’s solely related to lower data sharing or if Yahoo only applied a filer on yahoo.com domains. So what I'm wondering is what does this mean for the future of data sellers, brokers and rev share partners? How can a mailer be assured that the data they're sending to isn't being raped by 50 other mailers? And would you risk your yahoo wl knowing data is being shared?
This is actually nothing new, and goes exactly with my previous post (I forgot the thread) where I stated that Abaca's formula is used precisely to see which people everyone is targeting, and if they're all similar. To those who laughed at me, bite it good! Roundy is old, Roundy is wise, Roundy don't tell no motha fuckin' lies.
Yes I know, I figured this out the hard way in Dec when I lost my first two wlistes :frown: And yes Roundy, you are the wise one
